This is a portrait of the designer and owner of Frank, my favorite design shop in Los Gatos. After a number of years (and several locations) it closed up last spring (just too fabulous and quirky for our little town)! Walking in there was like entering a wonderland for a creative soul and I must confess I have a number of treasures from that place...I miss it so. I'm calling this painting Eden, inspired by the sign Kristy's holding, the general feeling of paradise in that store and the killer skirt she's wearing (which I hadn't even noticed until I was painting it) covered with tiny Adams & Eves under palm trees!
