The coast of California is full of secret roadside stops with dramatic panoramic views of the ocean, private, quiet and drop dead gorgeous! Shark Fin Cove in Davenport (which also goes by a host of other names, it seems) is certainly one such place. I love the stoic sea stacks that are pummeled by the Pacific, in a beach so quiet that it seems your alone.
