I painted Bailing Out specifically for Repository, an exhibition of Bay Area Women that was postponed indefinitely. In thinking about the container as both a metaphor and a launching point for this piece, I found it interesting to look at what we choose to hold onto and what we are either unable to or chose not to. Especially in this year of deluge!
