Capitola is one of those California beach towns that couldn't get any cuter! I love these Venetian Court beach condos, dating back to the 1920's, they've always reminded me of Easter eggs in their pastel glory. It's about time I got around to painting them! I did this one on site with the Los Gatos Art Association's Plein Air Painters and did some finishing touches back in the studio - I'm calling it pleinario (plein air/ studio).
