Imprint is a portrait which pulls to the surface the layers beneath the skin that help shape who we are. There is a dreamlike quality in the overlapping imagery and ambiguous sense of space. Windows and doorways act as portals symbolizing passages between time and place and generations.

Imprint was exhibited in the nationally juried Figure Show at the Pacific Art League of Palo Alto, California in 1998 where it was awarded honorable mention.
