I love that Naked Ladies are often a reminder of some long-gone homestead, popping up every year along what used to be a fence or a foundation. Instead of a purely realistic floral landscape I decided to paint pink outlines of what is no longer present when these flowers bloom: the house of yore, the leaves of spring. Not much more to go, I think I’ll call it Traces in Pink, Pink Traces, or some such thing.
