This little rosebud comes from my friend Nilofer's garden - it's an Eden rose as far as I can tell and I hope I can make room for one in my own garden! The contrast between it's pink center and it's creamy white to blushing pink petals is exceedingly lovely - and brings to mind the sensuous roses painted in the Rococo by the likes of Fragonard!
