Christy Ann's Lace is the epitome of summer in Nova Scotia, a lush field of wild flowers dropping off into the Bay of Fundy, Isle Haute looming blue in the distance.
Author Christy Ann Conlin and I both grew up staring at this island and it is her photograph and our shared memories upon which I based the painting.
