This little bloom comes from my friend Nilofer's garden - it's an Eden Rose - Pierre de Ronsard, this romantic climber was released in1986 and has been voted the world's most popular rose by the World Federation of Rose Societies in 2006. I love painting this variety as the white petals pick up all kinds of reflected color and the deep pink center adds focus and depth.
