I do love a pop-up – here today and gone tomorrow – did you catch it?
I got a note from Frank Interiors that there was going to be a pop-up market place held at Linda Benenati‘s Saratoga art studio on Saturday and I had to go, missing Frank as I do since they closed up shop earlier this year (too cool for Los Gatos).
Nothing says fun market place like these colorful vintage fabric banners…
…unless it’s somekind of gorgeously decorated cheese loaf that’s so decadent that you need to cut it with a saw?!
Love this great group of women – designers, artists, chiaropractors! At the market? – hand made jewelry, folk art, up-cycled fashion, encaustic paintings, antiques and vintage clothing.
I was so happy (and surprised) to see my friend Iris of greenphilosphie who had recently relocated to Oregon with her fabulous up-cycled clothing line – love those stripes!
I adore those vintage fabrics – especially that chenille!
I go t to meet and talk shop with encaustic artist, Linda Benenati. Here she is with a recent self-portrait after David Hockney.
Benenati’s Bats in Her Belfry was on her way home with some lucky someone.
See the mouse? That one went home with me!
I even ran into my OB/GYN who I haven’t seen since the birth of my daughter (some years ago) picking up a fabulous vintage cocktail dress and a folk art goat (interesting combo)!
It was like old home week! Sign me up for the next one!
