Apparently Rose Vanitas was too risqué for both the sex shop and the lingerie store in Palo Alto!

Funny story – Lolly, Chair of the Painted Chair, told me that while trying to shop my piece around for good window front exposure, Good Vibrations and Gitti’s Fine Lingerie both declined (not even draped in some lingerie!) And there I was thinking that the skeleton was the shocking part!

I decided to play “paper dolls” to see what it would have looked like.
