Reception Thanks

The best part of exhibiting is meeting with everyone that has come out to support me and check out the new work, seeing friends and clients and making new connections! It’s not just a social event but a real opportunity to see how people relate to the work, it’s really quite a privilege!

Thanks to everyone who was able to take some time out of their weekend to swing by, for the gift of home made ice cream sandwiches, the sprig of mimosa, and most of all your warm response and interest!

Diana Leone – Featured Artist

Diana Leone is the featured artist this month of November at the Los Gatos Museums Art Gallery. You can catch her every Sunday from 11- 3 and enjoy cider and cookies while she paints. She’s good! I was chatting with her while she was whipping up a sunflower before my eyes and she didn’t miss a stroke. She said she works better under pressure and often uses a timer. That’s her secret to her fresh and vibrant work. Her colors glow – they don’t have a chance to get muddy. I asked her how she finds inspiration. She smiled and said, “I just look out the window”.
